形態特徵

A large shrub or small to medium tree.
Leaves 14–30 cm long; leaflets (1-) 2–9 pairs; petiolules of lateral leaflets 3–15 mm long; leaflet blades sparsely and inconspicuously oil-dotted or without evident dots, glabrous or with hairs below on midrib, especially toward base, and sometimes on lateral veins, broadly ovate to lanceolate or sometimes elliptic or elliptic-oblong, often strongly inequilateral, 4–15 cm long, 1.7–6 cm wide, the apex acuminate, the ultimate veinlets densely reticulate, conspicuous below (as seen under the lens).
Inflorescences 9–19 cm long. Flowers 5-merous (occasional flowers 4-merous); petals green to yellow or white, 2.7–4 mm long; ovary pubescent between the carpels, otherwise finely pubescent toward apex or glabrous, ovules 2 per carpel; rudimentary carpels sparsely to densely pubescent toward base or sometimes glabrous.
Follicles appressed-pubescent laterally, otherwise glabrous, trigonous, 3.5–5 mm long, the endocarp sparsely to rather densely pubescent. Seeds 1 per follicle, subglobose to broadly ellipsoid or ovoid, 2.5–4 mm long.

分布

台灣 : Forest near sea level to about 2,000 m in Taiwan.
世界 : Himalaya eastward to southern Japan and south to Sumatra and the Philippines.
